After writing on Friday (and posting Saturday morning, early) that the weather had been wet, grey, and cool, we woke Saturday to a warm day full of sunshine. We live by the coast and for weeks now, I have been craving the beach. The weather and our schedule didn't align until Saturday.
With Mike off to the office for the day. We joined friends at a nearby beach on the bay. Much splashing, sand scooping, shell seeking, sand angel-making, snacking, and kite flying fun was had by all.
We are still one down today with Mike at work again. Lala is still home from school for the long weekend, so we are adventure seeking again.Happy Monday to you all and I am pausing and breathing, today, in thought of all those who have died fighting.
